Oh, Daughters, Where Art Thou?

New Year’s resolutions are meant to be broken, aren’t they?  So much for my Project 365.  Can I start over and call it Project-Once-a-Week-at-Least?

Between ear infections, pink-eye infections, stomach aches, viruses, sinus infections, and all the late winter illnesses you can imagine, we’ve finally come through to the other side and are none the worse for it.  I may not have shot many pictures over the past two months, but I have managed to keep one of my resolutions going:  to lose that baby weight and get back to where I was “back then.”  I like that ambiguous, loose “back then” term because it leaves things up to interpretation.

It’s not that I haven’t taken photos.  I just haven’t posted them.  So, over the next few days, I plan to get back into the swing of things and get those images up online for those who care to follow along.

Spring does that to you, doesn’t it?  Makes you want to clear out the fifteen trash bags of winter clothes your girls accumulated over the past five months and bring in the freshly-colored, pastel-hued tank tops and sundresses and adorable, tiny bubble suits for the baby.  I just finished doing said task, and my washer and dryer are feeling about the way Imp felt when she was stricken simultaneously with pink-eye, an ear infection, a sinus infection, and a viral cold.

Easter was a low-key affair this year.  Just the in-laws and our immediate family since the extended family on my side was–alas!–also suffering from terrible ailments.  Here are some images from Jack.  It was Little Bear’s first Easter, and she was quite smitten with the plastic eggs; they make good objets d’teething.
